Temporary Closure of: Wine Street, Bradford on Avon (Ref: TTRO 4533)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
Wine Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3108 Winsley Road to its junction with
C230 Newtown.
To enable: Wessex Water to carry out water mains replacement works.
Alternative route: via C230 Newtown – A363 Masons Lane / Bath Road – B3108 Winsley
Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 3 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the
closure will be required until 28 April 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the
stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be
maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of
the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Temporary Closure of: UC Cemetery Lane / Woolley Terrace and UC Woolley Street
(Part), Bradford on Avon (Ref: TTRO 4707)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic in the interest of public safety to prevent the inappropriate use of the roads during
major works on Holt Road and to protect unrestricted access for residents and businesses:
a) UC Cemetery Lane / Woolley Terrace, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with
B3107 Holt Road to its junction with Woolley Street.
b) UC Woolley Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3105 Woolley
Green to its junction with B3109 New Road.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order, which previously came into operation on 14 June 2016 will now recommence on
27 March 2017 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 31 March 2017.
The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.

Temporary Closure of: B3107 Holt Road (Part), Bradford on Avon (Ref: TTRO 4708)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

B3107 Holt Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its westernmost junction with B3109 Springfield in an easterly direction to its junction with Cemetery Lane.

To enable: Tithegrove Ltd to undertake development works at the Holt Road / Springfield junction.

Alternative route: via B3107 Holt Road (unaffected length) – B3105 Wooley Park / Woolley
Green – B3109 Sladesbrook – B3109 Mount Pleasant – A363 Masons Lane / Market Street – B3107 Silver Street / Woolley Street – B3107 Holt Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order which previously came into operation on 1 May 2016 will now recommence on 27 March 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 31 March 2017. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.

It’s that time of year again when we get all our little ducks out from hibernation and host one of our most prestigious events in the Town Council calendar. Hundreds of ducks enter the water for the race downstream.
