Meet Your Councillor

You told us that you'd like more opportunities to see your Councillors and to be given the chance to raise ideas and concerns, so starting this month, and every second Saturday of the month throughout 2018, we will be holding 'Meet your Councillor' drop-in sessions.

Remember, you are also welcome to come along to our Committee Meetings, and raise meeting specific concerns at the start.

Countdown to Peace


WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN IN THE COUNTDOWN TO PEACE CELEBRATION IN 2018?

11th November 2018 marks both the centenary of the Armistice that ended hostility in World War I and Remembrance Sunday.  'Countdown to Peace' is a programme of events and activities over the first ten days of November 2018, designed to raise awareness and understanding across the whole community of Bradford on Avon. This will lead up to the day of the Centenary and Remembrance Sunday.

2018 Policing Precept Consultation

The policing precept consultation is looking for the views of Wiltshire residents on the proposed increase of £12 a year. 

Notice from Wiltshire Council on parking charge increases

Variation Notice relating to the change in charges for off-street and on-street pay and display parking places within Bradford on Avon, Corsham, Melksham, Trowbridge and Westbury.  
 
The change in charges will come into operation with effect from 1st February 2018.

Assault on man in Bradford on Avon

"We are appealing for information and witnesses to an incident in which a 58-year-old man was assaulted. At approximately 11.45pm on Saturday 16 December, the man was walking passed Bradford on Avon Football Club when he heard a loud bang. Three males then jumped over a wall and followed the man on to Loddon Way and assaulted him. He sustained injuries to his head, bruising and a broken rib.
